Dietary fibres protect young woman from breast cancer

Pre-menopausal women who eat 30 or more grams of fibre a day could cut their risk of breast cancer by 52% reports the latest study on breast cancer from International Journal of Epidemiology. 35792 women aged between 35 to 69. were involved in the study that showed that high fibre intake from cereals and fruits, was associated with a significant reduction in the risk of breast cancer amongst pre-menopausal (young) women. The study indicates that a fibre intake of 13 grams or more per day was associated with 41 percent breast cancer risk reduction, compared to 4 grams or less fibre per day.

The possible reasons for the fibre benefits amongst pre-menopausal women include;

  • The potential roles of antioxidant nutrients in high fibre foods that have protective properties against reactive
  • oxygen species (ROS).
  • The Fibre also smooth out the peaks and troughs in insulin levels in the body, with high insulin levels being proposed as a potential cause of cancer, and
  • The dietary fibre may also regulate estrogen levels in the body, and the pre-menopausal group is known to have high level of estrogen.

ZHULIAN has been promoting the consumption of dietary fibre from its revolutionary products B'Young™ and ISO.5. In addition to dietary fibre benefits. B'Young™ is also rich in phytoestrogen of soya that mimicks the female estrogen thus reducing further breast cancer risk of pre-menopausal women. The daily intake of B'Young™ (Morning-Afternoon-Night) plus 2 sachets of ISO.5 supplies the body with at least 15 grams of high quality dietary fibre per day. This insures not only the removals of toxins from the body, enhancing the immune system, promoting regularity and daily cholesterol elimination, but also the protection from the risk of breast cancer.
