HIGH QUALITY SLEEP IS VITAL FOR BETTER HEALTH

Almost everyone of us spend approximately one third of our life in bed but yet we often do not consider how important our bed or mattress pad can be  and how it can affect our spine and health. No other piece of furniture in our house is used as often or affects our overall health more than the bed or mattress pad we lie on.




Sleep is essential for everyone. Sleep, like diet and exercise is important for our minds and bodies to function normally. In fact, humans can go longer without food and water than they can without sleep. In scientific experiments, mice deprived of sleep rapidly because incapacitated with their health deteriorating alarmingly. Lack of sleep can contribute to failing health. The spine in particular, greatly benefits from adequate sleep and proper support during sleep. The spine works hard all day supporting the body and its functions. A period of rest during sleep is essential to maintain proper functioning – that is why choosing a proper mattress pad is so important for ensuring your mental and physical health.

 A good and proper mattress pad makes a big difference in the quality of sleep you get every night. An unsuitable bed can cause your head, neck and spine to suffer compression and many other conditions which can affect you severely. The joints in the spine can lock and stiffen resulting in increased back or neck pain and discomfort. Mattress can either assist or hinder recovery from such conditions. A mattress bed that does not offer enough support for your spine can lead to increased muscle fatigue and a poor night’s sleep.
