Water is the single most important nutrient for human life
to exist. We can live for weeks without food but only days without water. Our
bodies are estimated to be up to 70% water. Blood is mostly water, and our
muscles, lungs and brain all contains a lot of water. Water plays a huge role
in our everyday lives. We drink it, cook with it, make orange juice with it and
mix baby formula with it. We need to drink water because water is needed to
regulate body temperature and to provide the mean for nutrients to travel to
all our organs. Water also transport oxygen to our cells, remove waste, and
protects our joints and organs.
